It all began at the EU Startup Summit in Malta, where three strangers—now co-founders—connected over a shared vision to fill the gaps in Malta’s social and entrepreneurial scene. I’m Katalin, the face of My Meaningful Events, joined by two incredible co-founders who, though busy with high-profile C-level roles, are deeply passionate about creating meaningful connections.
That night, we bonded over the need for spaces where startups could practice their pitches and where people could enjoy live, interactive entertainment tailored to their needs. We also shared personal struggles—mine and one co-founder’s with dating, and our happily married partner’s stories of friends frustrated with ghosting, fake profiles, and awkward dates. Together, we decided to make a change.
Fast forward a year, and My Meaningful Events was born. Starting in sunny Malta, we’re redefining connections through unique, in-person experiences. From Elite Speed Dating and Senior Elite Dating to fostering friendships and supporting startups, we’re here to bring people together in meaningful ways.
